Becoming a volunteer of Survival Aid The Gambia, you are offered a unique opportunity to engage yourself, helping to ensure the survival of the people of The Gambia. Social inequality in Africa makes us act to have a better future for our society. By volunteering you provide the opportunity to increase awareness for Girls on the issue of education inequality in The Gambia.
Female education from an early age is very important to achieve a more egalitarian society and where children have a better future. Currently there is gender inequality as there are fewer opportunities and education for girls. For every 100 male students who finish basic education, only 74 female students finish. Achieving equal opportunities will create a more productive society for all.
Fundraise
Being a fundraiser is a hugely rewarding job filled with excitement, it is a job that is suitable to everyone of every age and can benefit charity funding.
We are reaching out to you because we have finally started a FundTheNeedy to help out the needy. These are trying times here in Gambia, since the Covid 19 crisis a lot of families have been struggling to get their basic needs. Our goal is to raise money to help provide some basic needs for the families in need and continue this movement during the Ramadan by providing Iftar for people.
